The invention relates to a method and a dye composition for coating products made of rubber, rubber-like materials, natural caoutchouc or synthetic caoutchouc. To improve the efficiency of the printing process, it is provided by the invention that the dye composition, which has electrostatic properties, is applied to the surface of the product by means of an electro-photographic printing process.
