means testing structural materials for friction and wear in presence of liquid lubricating medium, testing and recording of summary linear wear of tested tribounion without its disassembly. SUBSTANCE: test chamber of friction machine has driving shaft carrying countersample anchored on it, loading unit, system recording summary linear wear of tribounion and clear inspection lid. Test chamber is mounted vertically on bearing unit whose outer surface presents downgoing conical surface smoothly changing to conical- helical one. Double-action plunger pairs come in the form of differential hydraulic cylinders. Countersample is anchored on driving shaft with use of conical fit. Tested samples-blocks are put on cylindrical lockpins in self-setting ball supports. System recording summary linear wear of tested tribounion has interplunger spaces interconnected by means of rigid pipe-line which are connected in sequence to manual master unit of initial excessive pressure, to manometer and transducer of dynamic pressure. Change of pressure of working liquid in system is used in the capacity of recorded parameter employed to determine summary linear wear of tribounion. EFFECT: possibility of circulation of tested lubricating medium, minimization of time needed for test, increased authenticity of test results. 1 cl, 2 dwg
