Process determining mechanical characteristics of structural and composite materials involves anchoring of specimen in grippers of tearing machine and its subsequent tension with recording of sigmai-epsii. diagrams. Tension test is carried out simultaneously with penetration of indenters mounted in heads of grippers of tearing machine. Indenters deform tested materials on rear side of specimen. Grippers of tearing machine are of hinge-flap type with screwed on nuts. Diameters of head of specimen is three-five time times as much as diameter of basic broken part of specimen.
