mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: end seal relates to seals of rotating shafts. End seal has a thrust ring positioned in body and supporting ring mounted on shaft. Circular magnets are installed in the thrust ring and in body. Circular magnets are facing each other with similar poles. Permanent circular magnets interacting with each other by similar poles provide for preliminary tightening and angular compensation of ring. During axial and angular shifts of the thrust ring magnets serve as angular compensators and promote maintenance of plane-parallelism of operating end surfaces of friction pair.
