Termination end of primary winding is connected with beginning end of secondary winding. Beginning end of primary winding and termination end of secondary winding are connected with mains; secondary winding is connected with arc gap. Such connection of windings provides small magnetic density in magnetic circuit at idle mode and complete use of steel of magnetic circuit at operation mode. It provides mass and size of apparatus reduced by 15-30% in comparison with those values of standard welding transformer. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
