SUBSTANCE: method involves marking operation field corresponding to projection of bearing part position, using marking unit manufactured as horseshoe-shaped socket and rectangular frames coupled with it and arranged in crossed configuration. Horseshoe-shaped flap is cut- out from the anterior cornea layers on a pedicle in the central zone with bed to be formed. The tissues are unidirectionally laminated with diametrically opposite orientation of the corneoscleral canals in the space between the eye-moving muscles by means of laminating devices having left and right blade position relative to the handle and longitudinal blade axis positioned at an angle of 90 deg and transverse axis positioned at an angle of 30-60 deg to the longitudinal handle axis. Separate restricted penetrating conjunctival and nonpenetrating scleral incisions are done in intermuscular zones concentrically to the limb with access to distal ends of the canals formed. Bearing part of the keratoprosthesis is positioned so that the bushing is placed on the corneal bed. Fixing plates are introduced into the corneoscleral incisions. The distal ends of the plates are brought outside through the scleral incisions and fixed to sclera. The bushing with temporary insert is covered with corneal flap. The corneal and conjunctival wounds are closed with twisted continuous sutures. EFFECT: increased reliability degree in fixing keratoprosthesis in an eye in the cases of large optic part diameter. 3 dwg
