PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely realize handover even when a quickly moving mobile station enters and leaves a radio wave dead zone. SOLUTION: In this communication system for a mobile object, radio communication between a mobile station 6 and plural communication base stations A and B for a mobile object is operated, and the mobile station 6 receives radio waves from one communication base station A for the mobile object outside a tunnel 2 being a radio wave dead zone, and receives radio waves from the other communication base station B for the mobile object in the tunnel 2 through a master station 3 and a slave station 4 of a repeater device 1 for the radio wave dead zone, and operates handover between one communication base station A for the mobile object and the communication base station B for the mobile object according to the movement of the mobile station 6. In this case, the slave station 4 of the repeater device 1 for the radio wave dead zone is arranged near an entrance/exit 7 in the tunnel 2.
