PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain facsimile equipment (FAX) that can be used easily. SOLUTION: A CPU 22 registers a subaddress signal and a communication specification correspondingly to a memory box, selects start of ring type broadcast transmission(RBT) or transfer of ring type broadcast reception(RBR) and controls transmission source information so as to add the information when the start of the RBT is selected or so as not to add the information when the transfer of the RBR is selected. At the execution of the RBT, the transmission source information of the transmission source starting the RBT, information indicating the RBT and the information indicating a nickname of the RBT can be transmitted. Since the transmission source information is not added at the transfer of the RBR, each of all users of FAXs executing the RBT can know the execution of the RBT and a person starting the RBT, and even at the time of recording the received information in a cut recording sheet, the information is not divided into two pages, so that an effect capable of extremely easily using the FAX is taken.
