PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity selling data processor which can speedily and precisely input a representative commodity consisting of plural constitution commodities by referring to a commodity file while respective constitution commodity codes corresponding to representative commodity codes are extracted while referring to a code link table and performing commodity registration for every constitution article. SOLUTION: Representative commodity codes representing plural commodity codes and made to correspond to respective constitution commodity codes represented by the representative commodity codes, and they can be set/stored in a code link table 26L. When the input commodity code is discriminated to be the representative commodity code, the code link table 26L is referred to and the respective commodities can be registered for every article by referring to a commodity file 13F while the respective constitution commodity codes corresponding to the representative commodity codes are extracted. Thus, the input work of the representative commodity consisting of plural constitution commodities can be executed by one operation. Consequently, job efficiency and customer service can be improved.
