摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC bidirectional converter which can transmit power energy efficiently between a pair of insulated DC voltage sources. SOLUTION: A DC bidirectional converter 1 is connected between an inverter/ converter circuit 3 and a secondary battery 4. The converter 1 includes a voltage doubler rectifier circuit serving also as an inverter 11, a high frequency AC choke coil 12, a high frequency transformer 13, a two-phase half-wave recifier circuit 14 serving also as an inverter 14, a filter circuit 15, and a current detector 16. When charging, the DC voltage outputted from the inverter/converter circuit 3 is converted into rectangular wave voltage by means of semiconductor switches S1, S2 to be supplied to a primary-side winding N1 of the high frequency transformer 13 and then the electromotive force induced in secondary- side windings N2, N3 is rectified to charge the secondary battery 4 with the rectified power. When discharging, the discharging voltage of the secondary-side battery 4 is converted into rectangular wave voltage by means of semiconductor switches S3, S4 to be supplied to the high frequency transformer 13 and capacitors C1, C2 are alternately charged with the electromotive force induced in the primary-side winding N1. Accordingly, a charge and discharge circuit can be unified.
