PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel composition, capable of maintaining a large amount of organic electrolytic solution used for improving low-temperature characteristics important for a practical gel polymer electrolyte lithium ion secondary battery and reducing the deterioration of a resin caused by the organic electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: This gel composition comprises vinylidene fluoride- hexafluoropropene copolymer, obtained by copolymerizing 1 to 6 wt.% of hexafluoropropene and organic solvent resoluble lithium chloride. Vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropene copolymer, obtained by copolymerizing 7 or less wt.% of fluorine-containing monomers except vinylidene fluoride is used, vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropene copolymer having a number average mol.wt. Mn about 200,000-700,000 is used, and the organic solvent resoluble lithium chloride is chlorocarbonic ester. |
