PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay at the time of data communication without being affected by NEXT noise and to improve the transmission efficiency by transmitting data in a period without affecting the other communication system in unit time. SOLUTION: When ADSL communication equipment avoids NEXT noise with an ISDN transmission line and transmits outgoing data to ADSL terminal equipment from an ADSL station side device, a period giving influence to the other communication system, namely, an ISDN communication system is the latter part of the fifth symbols in a NEXT period and an FEXT period. This is because a period when the station side device of an ISDN transmission system side receives a signal from the terminal equipment of the ISDN transmission system side sometimes occurs in the latter half part of the fifth symbol of the FEXT period. Thus, a bit is allocated to the first 4.5 symbol of the FEXT period which is not affected by NEXT noise. Consequently, total delay time from transmission to reception can be suppressed.
