PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a user with detailed information about merchandise. SOLUTION: A CM program is produced in the similar way as the conventional manner and ground wave broadcast is performed in a ground wave broadcasting station 1 concerning this information processor. A complementary broadcast program to a main broadcast program by the ground wave broadcast and a symbol picture to explicitly express the contents of the complementary broadcast program are created and broadcasted together with the complementary broadcast program in a CS broadcast station 2. On the other hand, signals from the ground wave broadcasting station 1 and the CS broadcasting station 2 are received and outputted to a monitor 6 in an IRD 5. Thus, both of the main broadcast program and the symbol picture of the complementary broadcast program are displayed on the monitor 6. Characters 'Do you print out a catalog?' are displayed as the symbol picture, when the symbol picture is selected by the user, printing data as the complementary broadcast program is outputted to a printer 31 and thus, the catalog of the merchandise advertised in a CM is printed by the printer 31.
