<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand-by power supply equipment which can eliminate unnecessary supply of power during stand-by state of remote controller and relay operation to reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: This stand-by power supply equipment includes a main power circuit 22 and a stand-by power circuit 20. Between a commercial AC power supply and the main power circuit 22, a latching relay 24 is disposed. A remocon photo sensor 26 and a first control circuit (sub-microcomputer 30) are operated on the voltage from the stand-by power circuit, and the first control circuit controls the on/off of the latching relay 24 in response to a power on/off signal from a transmitter of remote controller. The voltage from the main power circuit is supplied to various electronic circuits and a second control circuit (main microcomputer 28) and signals can be bidirectionally transmitted between the first and the second control circuit through communication means (photo sensors 32a, 32b).</p> |
