<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make performable a optimal designing and the reuse of knowledge in a short time irrelevantly to the skillfulness of a designer by unitedly managing the properties of mechanism components with assembly structure information. SOLUTION: A data management part 41 is a mechanism which manages the input and output of the information of a model base 42. In this model base 42, edited information on component design is managed with an assembly structure. In a design knowledge base 46, the design knowledge of mechanism components is stored and on the basis of the knowledge, a design plan is searched for. Then a design knowledge management part 45 manages the input and output of this design knowledge base 46 in a unified way. Information outputted from the design knowledge base 46 is transferred to a 3D modeler part 26 of a component editing system 20 through a design knowledge management part 45. Thus, a mechanism component design system uses the assembly structure to manage all information of the mechanism components of a camera produced by the injection molding in a unified way.</p> |
