PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable head which can realize a compact switchgear. SOLUTION: An columnar insulator 25a is constituted of an insulating material. A cable-end inserting hole 25b is bored through the lower part of the insulator 25a. A core conductor 25d, having a first connecting section 25f (sliding contactor) which is connected to a cable 14 and arranged in the hole 25b at one end section and a second connecting section 25j protruded from the top of the insulator 25a at the other end section, is provided. The side space of the second connecting section 25j is partitioned by an annular insulating wall 25e.
