PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure sensitive printer by which a covering body can be opened and a paper can be detached without spoiling the safety of an operator. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive printer 1 has a pressing and developing head 71 which scans the printing paper 2 carrying the pressure sensitive latent image and fed and supplied along a paper feeding path G in a direction X crossing with the feeding direction Z of the paper 2 and which presses and develops the latent image of the paper 2, and a case 10 surrounding the path G and the head 71; and the case 10 is provided with a case main body 11 and the covering body 12 capable of being displaced to a position B opening at least a part of the path G with respect to the main body 11. Besides, the printer 1 has pressure releasing means (28b, 28c, etc.), actually releasing the pressure of the paper 2 due to the head 71 in response to the opening of the body 12. |
