PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt-type switch having a movable contact piece into a clip shape having high insulating reliability. SOLUTION: Wing pieces 17 are provided opposing each other in a swinging direction on the top surface of a movable contact piece 6. Step parts 19 are provided opposing each other on an inner surface in a swing direction of a rectangular hole 18 on the bottom surface of a converted element 7. This device is structured, such that fitting the wing pieces 17 in the step pieces 19 engages the converter element 7 with the movable contact piece 6, thereby facilitating assembling, obtaining a contact force as designed because no press fitted state is present in the narrow width direction of the movable contact piece, and increasing the reliability.
