PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition switch for motorcycle having increased operability. SOLUTION: This ignition switch comprises a body 1, having a cylindrical opening 1a on a top part, an operation knob 3 engaged with the opening 1a of the body 1 for turn, a cylinder 2 with a key hole 2a formed on a center of a top end, loaded with multiple tumblers 7 from the side, with one end being inserted into a through-hole 3a and with the other end engaged with the body 1, a movable contact plate 4 with a movable contact 4a, and rotable interlocking with the turn operation of the operation knob 3, and a fixed contact plate 5 having multiple fixed contacts 5a provided opposed to the movable contact plate 4.
