PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage stabilizing circuit increased in response speed while reducing the current consumption by controlling the current of a differential amplifier circuit in an area of a small load current and an area of a large load current and to provide also a semiconductor device using the voltage stabilizing circuit. SOLUTION: A load current feedback type regulator circuit limiting the feedback quantity of a load current is constituted of a differential amplifier circuit 1, an output circuit 2, a current proportion/limitation circuit 3, and so on. The circuit 3 consists of two pMOS transistors(TRs) M8, M10 and an nMOS TR M9, controls a current on the basis of a load current IL from the output circuit 2 and is constituted so as to allow a differential amplifier circuit current Is proportional to the load current IL to flow into the circuit 1 in an area of a small load current IL and allow the differential amplifier circuit current Is limited to a fixed value by a current limiting TR M10 to flow into the circuit 1 in an area of a large load current IL.
