PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a light source of a thin type which allows the easy mounting of a display board and internal long-sized light sources and their exchange. SOLUTION: This display device consists of an upper frame 11, a lower frame 12, a left frame 13, a right frame 14 and a corner frame 40 and the display board supported at the upper, lower, left and right frames. The upper, lower, left and right frames consist of frames 20 which are fixed to their respective bodies and opening/ closing frames 25 which are freely rotatably supported at supporting shafts formed along the longitudinal direction of the frames 20. The opening/closing frames 25 are energized to an either posture of retaining the peripheral edges of the display board supported on a light transmission plate to the upper, lower, left and right frames by leaf springs 31 interposed between the frames 20 and the opening/closing frames 25 or stopping the peripheral edges in the state of opening from the frames 20. The light sources are arranged between the upper and lower frames and the opening/closing frames. The parts near the end faces of the corner frames 40 existing at the ends of the light sources are provided with light leakage preventive members 42 for preventing the light leakage. The frames 20 and the opening/closing frames 25 are respectively provided with reflection plates 22 in proximity to the light Sources.
