PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accessory attaching/detaching device for a camera capable of preventing a lock mechanism from being broken by the unnatural operation of an operation member. SOLUTION: This attaching/detaching device for attaching/detaching an accessory separate from the camera to/from an accessory shoe provided in the camera is equipped with a lock hole 26 formed on the accessory shoe, a lock pin 36 engaged with/disengaged from the lock hole 26 and provided on the accessory side, an elastic deforming member 38 whose one end is fixed on the pin 3 6 and whose other end is fixed on the accessory side, and the operation member 34 moving the pin 36 to an engaging position and a non- engaging position with the lock hole 26 through the member 38.
