PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a computer which can reduce the communication cost regarding the monitoring of a system having a computer connected to a monitor terminal through a network. SOLUTION: The computer 1 connected to the monitor terminal 8 through the network 7 is equipped with a computer circuit 2, circuits 3 and 4 which detect at least one of the operation state and operation fault of the computer 2, and a monitor module 5 having a means which notifies the monitor terminal 8 of information regarding the operation state or operation fault information detected by the circuits 3 and 4 through the network and a means which changes the monitor terminal to be notified according to the contents of the operation state and operation fault.
