PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming device having a notifying function without lowering the quality of service and without raising the cost of the device. SOLUTION: When an abnormality is detected by a state monitoring part 3, a notifying system changeover part 5 discriminates whether the abnormality is an abnormality requiring an action by a service person without fail or an abnormality which does not necessarily require the action by the service person and it selects an automatic notification when the abnormality is the abnormality requiring the action by the service person without fail as a notification system by a notification control part 4 and a notification transmitting and receiving part 6 and it selects the automatic notification or a manual notification in accordance with previously set instruction contents when the abnormality is the abnormality which does not necessarily require the action by the service person. The notification control part 4 reports the abnormality respectively detected by the state monitoring part 3 by the notification transmitting and receiving part 6 to a centralized control device 10 automatically when the automatic notification is selected and when a prescribed operation is performed when the manual notification is selected. |
