FUSE EVALUATING METHOD AND FUSE SELECTING METHOD USING RESULT OF EVALUATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse evaluating method capable of accurately evaluating fuses. SOLUTION: Plural fuses having a different fuse cross sectional area are prepared as samples per each fuse cross-sectional area, and instantaneous arc current is made to flow into each fuse so as to obtain a fusion current value per each fuse. A standard fusion current value is obtained per each fuse cross- sectional area on the basis of the fusion current value obtained per each fuse. Since the standard fusion current value is based on a value obtained by making the instantaneous arc current flow to each fuse, the fusion current in the condition approximating the actual using conditions and a realizing function of the fuse is obtained, and the value becomes an appropriate value. Fuse can be thereby evaluated appropriately.
