摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the attractiveness effectively by a method wherein the product of the diameter of a bump on an Ni-P layer, the radius of curvature of the tip of the bump and a prescribed constant value is made to be an approximate value of the contact area of the tip of the bump with the slider surface of a magnetic recording head and the approximate contact area is made to be a specified one or smaller per a unit area of a contact stop-start region. SOLUTION: An approximate contact area is made to be 0.55 mm2 or below, or 0.45 mm2 preferably, per a unit area 1 mm2 of a contact start-stop region. An Ni-P-plated layer is provided on an aluminum alloy substrate and laser bumps are formed in an annular contact start-stop region in the range of radial positions R16.0-R20.0 on this plated layer. A bump pitch Pr in the radial direction, a bump pitch Pθin each circumferential direction, the diameter (r) and height of the bump and the radius Re of curvature of the tip of the bump depending thereon are varied, and the approximate contact area (π×r×Rc) is made to be of a prescribed value or below.</p>
