PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by enabling fast forwarding of a background image and having a fast forwarding function by reproducing and outputting only an intra-frame encoded picture in MPEG1 data. SOLUTION: According to the instruction of a music playing part 1, a background video reproducing part 3 reads video out of a background video storage part 43 and reproduces and output it. At such a time, when fast forwarding is selected by a fast forwarding operating part 52 of an operating part 5, the MPEG1 data of only the intra-frame encoded picture detected by a detecting part 31 are outputted to a reproducing part 32. In this case, MPEG is a basic image frame, which is compressed only by spatially compressing only the 1 frame of the intra-frame encoded picture, having the independence of one group of picture(GOP) and since outputting is enabled without even considering frame information before and after constituting the preceding GOP, by outputting only the I frame in the GOP, fast forwarding can be performed. |
