PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a base station capable of applying a diversity theory to more than two antennas. SOLUTION: An allocating means SW establishes the connections between two respective transmitting means MXA and MXB and respective antennas 1 to 4. A base station NB is connected to the allocating means, divides antennas into a 1st antenna group and a 2nd antenna group and further includes a calculating and controlling means CTR which controls connection switching so that the 1st antenna group can be connected to the 1st transmitting means MXA and that the 2nd antenna group can be connected to the 2nd transmitting means MXB. A receiver can compensate amplitude difference and phase difference phi existing between signals A and B by dividing the antennas in some different ways.
