PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce radiation of an electric field from a whip antenna inside a case body and to reduce phase distortion of transmission data by circulating to a transmission amplifier by having a conductor which electromagnetically couples with the whip antenna inside the case body resonate as an antenna at housing of the whip antenna case body of an extendable/contractable type antenna and further grounding it to a ground. SOLUTION: A coil shaped conductor 3 is electrically connected to the ground of portable radio equipment, and a length and an arranged position of this coil-shaped conductor 3 are selected, so that electromagnetic coupling with a whip antenna 2 becomes strong. Thus, for example, as the electric length of the coil shaped conductor 3, a quarter wavelength is selected, and as the arranged place of the coil shaped conductor 3, a part near a tip of the whip antenna 2 is selected. Since the coil-shaped conductor 3 is fixed, the distance between the whip antenna 2 and the coil-shaped conductor 3 becomes larger, when an expansion system antenna 2 is extendable/contractable and the whip antenna 2 will not be influenced by the coil shaped conductor 3.
