SOLUTION: A server 112 holds location information wherein information on the positions of devices is hierarchically represented, property information, and a plurality of state information (icon information) corresponding to various states of the devices and also holds map information corresponding to the respective hierarchys of the location information. A client 111 superimposes and outputs (displays out) the state information of the devices detected by the server 112 on the map information corresponding to the devices. At this time, the client 111 changes corresponding to state changes reported from the devices (event notification).
