PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron gun electrode and an electron gun for cathode- ray tube capable of preventing thermal drift of an electron beam and enhancing the focus characteristic and white balance characteristic. SOLUTION: A control electrode or a screen electrode is equipped with a first electrode member 110 provided with a supporting part 112 protruding from the edge of a vertical portion and three coupling holes 114, 115, 116 in in-line arrangement and second electrode members 120, 130, 140 to be coupled with the coupling holes in the first electrode member and furnished with plane portions 122, 132, 142 where electron beam passing holes 121, 131, 141 are formed and flanges 123, 133, 143 formed along the edges of the plane portions and coupled with the edges of the beam passing holes in the first electrode member.
