PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a door mechanism which lessens sliding resistance, is capable of smoothing door opening/closing operation and has high reliability by forming ruggedness at either of the guide grooves of upper and lower cases of a door member for opening and closing a tape outlet or the portions guided by the upper and lower guide grooves of the door member. SOLUTION: The upper and lower cases 1 and 2 have the tape outlet 73. The tape outlet 73 is opened and closed by the door member 7. The door member 7 is energized at all times by a spring member 10 to a direction where the tape outlet 73 is closed. The door member 7 is a planar body of a square shape and is formed with projecting parts 72 at its top and bottom ends. These projecting parts 72 may be semicircular or hemispherical. At the time of opening and closing of the door, the door member 7 is opened against the spring member 10 by a door opening/closing member. Since only the projecting parts 72 of the door member 7 abut on the guide grooves of the upper and lower cases 1 and 2, the sliding areas between the guide grooves and the door member 7 may be decreased. The smooth opening and closing of the door member 7 are thus made possible.
