PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a DC transformer wherein restriction about capacity does not exist, from a circuit of low voltage and small current to a circuit of high voltage and large current, and miniaturization is enabled. SOLUTION: One terminal 1a of a first capacitor 1 is connected with a positive electrode of a DC power source 12 via a first switch 7. One terminal 2a of a second capacitor 2 is connected with a negative electrode of the DC power source 12 via a second switch 8. When the first switch 7 and the second switch 8 are opened, a positive voltage is applied to the other terminal 1b of the first capacitor 1 by using a power source 13 for voltage transformation, and a negative voltage is applied to the other terminal 2b of the second capacitor 2.
