PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired final image without needing skillness by magnifying an initial image to be arranged at the back of a mask provided at an opening part of the same size as the final image, moving the magnified image so as to make a desired area appear in the opening part and then selecting a range of the opening part. SOLUTION: A final image having the size of (8×10) inches and a 5:4 aspect ratio is obtained from an initial image consisting of a photosensitive part of a 35 mm film, for example, and having a size of (1.5×1) inches and a 6:4 aspect ratio. The initial image is enlarged into a resizing image that has a size of (8×12) inches and a 6:4 aspect ratio. A mask 200 is set and has an opening part 210 which includes the 1st and 3rd opening part sides 212 and 216 of 10 inches and the 2nd and 4th opening part sides 214 and 218 of 8 inches and has a size and an aspect ratio equal to those of the final image. Then the resizing image is placed at the back of the part 210 and then dragged continuously until a favorite pattern is included in the part 210. Then an area is selected in the part 210. |
