PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money system which can deal with an electronic money issued by a credit company and an electronic money issued by a monetary facility in common. SOLUTION: A cooperation center 1 receives the charge request of electronic money from a user terminal 7, discriminates whether the issuing source of electronic money of the request is a monetary facility or a credit company and generates and transmits either prescribed account charge information to a bank host 3 or prescribed electronic money sales information to a credit host 5 in accordance with the discrimination result. The cooperation center 1 receives an electronic money reception request from a store terminal 9, discriminates whether the payment destination of electronic money is the monetary facility or the credit company and generates and transmits either prescribed store payment information to the bank host 3 or prescribed store sales information to the credit host 5 in accordance with the discrimination result.
