PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotor, capable of simply forming a magnetic air gap between a permanent magnet and an annular portion and fixing a permanent magnet into a permanent magnet inserting space without fluctuations. SOLUTION: This permanent magnet type rotor comprises a plurality of rotor cores 4, each obtained by providing a plurality of sector-like cores 2 formed in a permanent magnet insertion space 8 between the respective cores 2, arranged in the circumferential direction, an annular portion 3 made of a magnetic material provided at the inner peripheral side of the core 2 and a slender coupling portion 6 extended radially to integrally connect a portion 3 to the core 2 on the outer periphery of the portion 3 are laminated to constitute a rotor laminated core 1. In this case, axially bendable protrusions 9 is provided on a plurality of positions of the outer periphery of the portion 3 of the axial direction of the core 1, and the magnet 10 is inserted fixedly by folding the protrusions 9 into a space 8.
