PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a facsimile(FAX) equipment that can be used easily. SOLUTION: A CPU 22 registers a nickname, a subaddress signal and the address to which data are to be transferred next correspondingly to a ring type broadcast transmission(RBT) number, selects start of the RBT, specifies the RBT, and when the start of the RBT is selected and ended, controls a communication result report so as to display a transmission mode for the initial start and the transmission mode for final reception in the report. When a function of the FAX equipment executing the RBT is low, a user can recognize the low function, so that an effect which permits an extremely easy use of the FAX equipment is obtained.
