PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable macros which individual users have easily prepared, to be registered on a server by editing and outputting extracted data according to macro information specified from the list of the displayed pieces of macro information. SOLUTION: The server 1 retrieves information (table 21) requested by a terminal 3, extracts data meeting requested retrieval conditions from the information (table 21) and sends them to a terminal 3, and also transmits a list of macro information 22 to the terminal 3 and the selected macro information 22 to the terminal 3, which edits and displays the received data according to the received macro information 22. At this time, an outline at macro use time is registered in each piece of macro information 22 and the outline is displayed in the list of the macro information 22 and made to be selectable. Further, the macro information 22 is registered on another server (common server) while added to the information (table 21) or correlated to the information (table 21).
