PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mechanism for transporting a negative film housing sheet with improved operation efficiency by preventing wrinkles from occurring in the case of the transport of a negative film housing sheet. SOLUTION: This mechanism is provided with a driving roller 30 for transporting the negative film housing sheet along a transport path, a press- contacting roller 31 having a flat press-contacting surface 31b brought into press-contact with the roller 30 in order to pinch the negative film housing sheet, and a guiding mechanism which guides the width direction of the negative film housing sheet and is further provided with a first guide member 40 positioned on the lower side of the transport path of the roller 30 and a second guide member 41 positioned on the upper side of the transport path. The set positions of the members 40 and 41 can be changed so that the width directions of a four-frame-type negative cover and a six-frame-type negative film housing sheet can be guided.
