PRODUCTION OF TONER, METHOD FOR FILLING TONER INTO TONER VESSEL AND TONER CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a toner which is easily filled into a toner cartridge without causing the isolation and re-aggregation of the additive. SOLUTION: A toner having toner particles and an additive and having 2-8 μm number average particle diameter (a) by the Coulter method is passed through a spiral screw to produce the objective toner. The original toner has an average circularity of 0.950-0.995 in the circularity distribution of the particles measured with a flow type particle image analyzer and contains 2-40% by number of particles whose circularity is <0. 950 and the toner is produced by dispersing the additive on toner particles and passing the resulting particles through a screen whose opening (B) satisfies 5<=B/a<=15 to separate and remove coarse particles.
