PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce color into color separation values matched with color characteristics of an image output device by filtering the looks of image colors in the source image of known color resolving values under various environments through a beam splitting distribution or chromatic value. SOLUTION: When a color image output device learnt by an operator is connected to the output terminal of a color reproducing device and registered, a reproducing mode is set by a control part 8 and parameter values 14 and 16 of converting parts 1 and 3 on a neural network and a color filter value 15 of a converting part 2 are read out from a storage part 5 and set to the neural network of the converting parts 1 and 3 and the matrix of the converting part 2. Then, the color separation values of a source image 12 are inputted from an input part 4 and applied to the converting parts 1, 2 and 3, the looks of image colors in various environments are estimated by these neural network and color filter, the beam splitting distribution or chromatic value is converted to color separation values corresponding to the color image output device and applied to an output part 6, and an output image 13 is outputted. |
