PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a tensile strength required for overhead-laying by a high- density type optical fiber cable having a spacer with an inner layer groove and a spacer with an outer layer groove, so as to facilitate intermediate posterior branching. SOLUTION: A coated optical fiber ribbon 5 is stored inside a unidirectional spiral groove 4 of a spacer 1 with an inner layer groove having the groove 4 on its outer circumference, an intermediate layer of a tensile strength body 7 for receiving tensile force at the time of overhead-laying is provided on the outside thereof, a spacer 2 with an outer layer groove having an SZ spiral groove 9 on its outer circumference is provided on the outside thereof, a coated optical fiber tape 10 is stored inside the SZ spiral groove 2, and a sheath 12 is provided on the outside thereof without providing a tensile strength body layer.
