PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user possible to grasp the progress of a copy job as the user sits at his own desk by providing a display means which displays the progress state and the completion of a picture formation, forming the display means in a tower shape and constituting it of a lighting body. SOLUTION: The display means 2 which displays progress state and completion of a picture formation and is formed in a tower shape, is disposed on a main body 1 of the image forming device, and a lighting member is installed inside the tip part A of the display means 2. A user performs the setting of the copy job and, for example, when the set time until the completion of the copy job is >=3 min, an orange lamp positioning at the lowest past of the display means 2 is turned on. Thereafter, the copy operation proceeds and a yellow lamp is turned on when the set time becomes >=2 min and <=3 min, a blue lamp is turned on when the set time becomes >=1 min and <=2 min, a green lamp in turned on when the set time becomes <=1 min, and a red lamp which is situated on the lowermost part is turned on when the copy job is completed. |
