摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform path search even under low Eb/Io before an antenna directivity is formed in a cellular system using an adaptive array antenna. SOLUTION: This circuit consists of an array antenna 101, radio receiving parts 1021 to 102Na in each of antenna elements 101 to 10Na, A/D converters 1031 to 103Na, the replica generating part 105 of a known signal sequence on a receiving side, correlation operating parts 1041 to 104Na calculating a replica signal and a cross-correlation signal of each antenna element, a weight balance operating part 106 performing weight balancing of a correlation signal in each antenna element, a weight controlling part 108 designating a weight coefficient so as to meet a directivity to a plurality of directions in which there is a possibility that the mobile terminal of the other communication party exists and a correlation peak detecting part 107 detecting a peak from delay profiles in a plurality of the directions and deciding the rough direction of the mobile terminal and receiving timing.</p>
