PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw terminal with reduced cost by forming a terminal frame into a structure having high strength. SOLUTION: By inserting a screw in a direction A from a screw hole 1a bored in an annular terminal frame 1 and by tightening the screw and thereby catching a wire inserted in a direction B from an opening part between the tip part of the screw and the inside circumferential surface 5 of the terminal frame 1, the wire is held mechanically and connected electrically. The annular terminal frame 1 is so arranged as to position one end part 16 of a sheet metal outside the other end part 15, a protruding part 2 of which tip part 2a is wider than its base part 2b is protruded on the one end part 16, and bent parts 3 formed by bending the tip part of the other end part 15 is fitted to a furrowing part 4 on the periphery of the base part 2b of the protruding part 2, so that the end parts of the terminal frame 1 are connected to each other.
