JET BURNER DRYING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a crushed and dried raw material to be discharged smoothly. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a treatment tank 20 including a hemispherical bottom 20a and a conical side wall 20b decreasing a diameter of the wall toward an outlet 21 of an upper end and is provided with an electric heater 22 outside. A jet burner 2 is provided toward a central part of the bottom 20a from an upper side. A raw material feeding pipe 23 provided with a conical cap 24 and a raw material feeding opening 25 directed outward radially is provided on the bottom 20a and faced to the jet burner 2. The outlet 21 is connected with a separator via a discharging duct 10. When a jet stream is generated by the jet burner 2, combustion gases 12 travel toward the outlet 21 along the cap 24, a screw conveyor of the raw material feeding pipe 23, and an inside of a treatment tank 20. As a result, sludge 8 is crushed and dried by the jet stream and sent to the separator through the outlet 21. The sludge 8 sticking to a wall surface of the treatment tank 20 is dried by the heated wall surface of the treatment tank 20 to separate.
