PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flexure blank having a terminal part ensuring highly reliable electrical connection with bumps formed on a counterpart flexible circuit board for interconnection. SOLUTION: A required wiring pattern 3 is formed including a required terminal part where openings 9 required for electrical connection with a counterpart flexible circuit board 8 for interconnection through an insulating base layer 2 are formed not only in one surface of a resilient metal layer 1 but also in the insulating base layer 2. The resilient metal layer 1 is subjected to required patterning using an unnecessary resilient metal layer part 1B as a mask such that the terminal part located on the circumferential fringe of the opening 9 is protected.
