PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book management system for plant facilities by which the information related to a faulty device and its parts can be quickly obtained with no time and labor required when a failure occurs. SOLUTION: In this plant facility book management system, the complete books of the plant facility devices and their parts and the operation information or the maintenance information are computerized, stored in a data base 13 and managed. Then the block diagrams of each of plant facility devices or the flow charts which are sorted into the electricity, oil, air, water and fuel for all plant facility devices are selectively displayed. Thus, the complete books of the parts, the operation information or the maintenance information related to the facility devices are automatically extracted and displayed on the screen of a CRT 18 by selecting the display items of the parts and facility devices related to the displayed block diagrams or flow charts.
