PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly discriminate whether a coin, which is put in and discriminated true, is stored in a coin storage part or not. SOLUTION: When a coin 50 is guided to a storage track 33, driving circuits 22A and 23A are driven and sensors 34A and 35A are emitted. In this case, when light receiving sensors 34B and 35B are successively turned off by respectively successively passing the top end of the coin between sensors 34A and 34B and between sensors 35A and 35B, next, the ON of the light receiving sensors 34B and 35B is successively judged. In this case, when the rear end of the coin is successively passed between the sensors 34A and 34B and between the sensors 35A and 35B by further dropping the coin toward the coin storage part and the light receiving sensors 34B and 35B are successively turned on, it is judged the coin is normally stored in the coin storage part.
