PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vertically long screen or a horizontally long screen to be optionally selected as the display screen of a monitor part by enabling the monitor part to be turned in many directions with respect to a device main body. SOLUTION: This recorder is provided with a device main body part 1 having a recording part recording information at a recording carrier and a camera part and the monitor part 2 turnably arranged with respect to the main body part 1. The monitor part 2 is coupled through triaxial rotary mechanisms 5, 6, 7 and 8 with which the main body part 1 is provided and arranged so that it can be turned in many directions with respect to the main body part 1.
